Dredge Overview
For sale: Amphibex AE400E dredge. This is a 22 ton amphibious dredger and excavator. Basic Model AE400 with 5.5m excavation depth, equipped with Caterpillar diesel engine, Serie C9, 350HP at 2100 rpm.
- Modifications: We are not aware of any major modifications to the original configuration
- Known Deficiencies: The dredge requires maintenance and repairs to several systems. The identified items include structural surface cleaning and finishing, hydraulic system work including piston seals and replacement of suction/discharge hoses in poor condition, as well as electrical and instrumentation work
- Operating Status: The dredge is not currently operational. The engine has been validated as operational, but the other systems would require repairs and maintenance to return the dredge to operating conditions
